Very durable thermo-plastic drops applied at a thickness of 3mm to the road for superior wet and wet-night properties.

  • 3mm drops applied with a special Rumble Drop Machine.
  • The structure
    • increase good wet-night visibility- water flow between the drops.
    • create an audible alert when the car drive over the line.
    • provide skid resistance.
  • The first Rumble drop lines was applied on the N4 in 2004. The drops are still there, and was only recently re-painted.
  • Rumble drop markings contains pre-mixed glass beads, which are exposed with wear and results in good longer reflectivity through out the markings lifespan.

 

LANINO applied Rumble Drop Markings successfully on the white edge lines of the toll roads around Johannesburg and Pretoria (2013).
